Option Care wants to help patients and their families become as independent as possible with their care, while providing a reassuring support network of clinicians and reimbursement specialists to answer any questions they may have. At the start of a new therapy, Option Care coordinates with the patient for delivery of services and explains what services will be provided. Skilled infusion nurses will assist in teaching the patient and/or caregiver about their condition, therapy, equipment, and expected results from therapy.

Option Care knows that knowledge and information are the best tools that patients can have on their road to recovery. We have an extensive patient training program designed to teach patients about the administration of their medication and how to properly maintain their access device (catheter, g-tube, sub-Q set, etc.). From the one on one teaching visits, to the step by step printed materials, Option Care wants every patient to be fully informed and take an active roll in their therapy.
